The Liverpool Muslim Society was formed in1953. In 1965, the construction of Al Rahma Mosque began. Since then different phases of the Mosque were constructed until the present day.

The number in the Mulsim community has increased immensely, by Allah's persmission. therefore there is an urgent need for more praying space, classes for children and adults, and an advice centre for the whole community. the Liverpool Muslim Community is a very diverse one, which includes brothers and sisters from more than 45 different countries. Alhamdulilah, at the moment we are all united and pray together in Al Rahma Mosque which is the main Mosque in the whole of Liverpool City.
